4. Demaecan Rewards and Comparison with Other Companies
(1) How Demaecan Rewards are Calculated
As mentioned above, the delivery reward calculation formula was revised on August 1, 2023. The current formula is as follows:
"Base Reward (Flat 400 JPY Nationwide) × Boost Multiplier (1.1 to 3.0)"
In the new system, the "distance reward" based on delivery mileage has been abolished, but instead, the "boost multiplier" has increased.
The boost multiplier is adjusted so that the rider's rewards don't drop significantly!
Since the boost multiplier varies depending on the delivery distance, longer deliveries still result in higher rewards, just as before.
* Rewards vary depending on distance, area, timing, date, etc.
* "Boost" is a bonus given during peak times or holidays, calculated by multiplying the base reward.
* Campaigns may further increase rewards.

Q. What kind of job is it?
A. It’s a job where you deliver food from Demaecan’s partner restaurants to customers. You can work whenever you like.
Q. How is it different from a part-time job (Arubaito)?
A. As an independent contractor, there are no shifts. You choose your own time and location. Payment is per delivery, not per hour.
(2) Registration
Q. What documents are needed?
A. ID (with photo), insurance certificate, and bank account info. For motorcycles/cars, a driver's license and business license plate are also required.
(3) Rewards
Q. When is payday?
A. Cut-offs are the 15th and the end of the month. Payments are made to your bank account within 5 business days of each cut-off.
